What is a B-Movie?


A B-Movie is a low budget commercil motion picture that was first used during the golden age of Hollywood. From the 1920's up until the late 1950's Bmovies were prominent throughout the cinema world. However during that time, up to the the early 2000's it ceased to exist in many places.

They ususally last around 70 to 80 minutes and were the starting block for many upcoming filmakers and actors. Greats such as John Wayne and Jack Nicholson found their fame throught B-Movies.

These are just a few of the better known B-Movies.
