Terry Gilliam: The Man Who Killed Don Quixote

Watching this documentary makes you realize that even if you have everything and are a well respected director, you still dont always get what you want. It hopefully will give me an insight about how to run my projects in a more structured way.

It was sad to see someone so passionate about the film, dedicating nearly a decade of his life for the film, only for it not to be made quite soul destroying. At the beginning of the documentary he full of life and vigor and by the end, he is a shadow of the man he was.

It was also scary to think about all of those people who had invested in the film out of their own pocket. What hapens to them? Are they reimbursed or do they just lose out? Thankfully we are not at the stage of losing people money just yet.
